Local SEO By Ankit Rawat generates connected Schema.org LocalBusiness JSON-LD structured data for single and multi-location businesses, complete with a zero-API Leaflet store locator, Service-Area Business protections, WooCommerce product graph integration, location sitemaps, and in-memory wp-admin content diagnostics.

Target Workflow

Who this plugin is for

Local business owners, multi-branch companies, clinics, restaurants, service-area businesses, and agency developers who need search-compliant Schema.org structured data and interactive location discovery without recurring SaaS subscriptions, external API keys, or frontend page speed overhead.

Functional Scope

How it works in practice

Outputs a unified Schema.org entity graph in the page head linking WebSite, Organization, WebPage, BreadcrumbList, and LocalBusiness via stable @id references. Provides a dedicated Locations post type for managing branch details, addresses, geocoordinates, operating hours, and service areas. Renders an interactive store locator with browser-local proximity calculations using locally bundled Leaflet maps. Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Google Maps API key or paid third-party subscription?
No. Maps are powered by Leaflet JS, which is bundled locally within the plugin package. Map tiles are requested from OpenStreetMap by default or your own custom tile endpoint. No Google Maps billing or API keys are required.
Does the plugin send my site data or customer analytics to external servers?
No. The plugin operates 100% locally on your WordPress server. PHP makes zero outbound HTTP calls, contains no telemetry, and transmits no analytics or data to external servers.
How does the plugin handle Service-Area Businesses (SABs)?
Marking a location as a Service-Area Business withholds its street address and exact latitude/longitude coordinates from JSON-LD schema, store locator maps, REST APIs, and sitemaps. Configured service areas and cities are published instead, protecting privacy.
Can this plugin coexist with Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or All in One SEO?
Yes. The plugin includes automatic duplicate structured data detection and alerts you in wp-admin. Developer filters such as local_seo_by_ankit_rawat_output_local_schema allow you to disable output on specific pages if another plugin already outputs schema.
How do I test the generated JSON-LD structured data?
You can inspect the compiled graph directly in wp-admin using the in-memory Schema Inspector, or test your live page URLs using Google's official Rich Results Test or Schema.org Validator.
Does this plugin slow down frontend page rendering?
No. Administrative diagnostics and schema validation run exclusively in wp-admin. On the frontend, the plugin only injects lightweight JSON-LD into the head, and enqueues Leaflet CSS/JS strictly on pages containing a map or store locator shortcode.
What happens to my location data if I deactivate or uninstall the plugin?
Locations and branch content are stored as standard WordPress custom post type entries and remain safely in your database. Uninstalling the plugin removes only plugin-specific settings and diagnostic caches.
